A client’s room is in Cheshire Life!
I’m having a happy day: Cheshire Life have chosen to feature one of the rooms I’ve designed in a client’s house in Bramhall. Please read the article here:
I’ve really enjoying working on this home. The homeowners are both in the medical profession with two children and they wanted their house to be reorganised and decorated in a bright, optimistic style. The dining room was first; they wanted a bo-ho look in here and the room also needed to double up as a book room. We had fitted cupboards made from Paul Ward Joinery and chose dark grey walls and woodwork as a backdrop to the bright Kantha quilt:
Next, with all the books relocated into the dining room we were able to turn the dark, neglected office into a bright playroom for the children:
We then tackled the lounge, which was dark and north-facing. We added a bright palm tree wallpaper from Cole and Son with splashes of bright yellow and turquoise. It now feels like summer all year round:
We are tackling the kitchen next so watch this space!! It’s been great fun working with clients who love a bit of colour! It has certainly made my winter bright and cheerful…
